On Sundays in both churches we share bread and wine together (sometimes known as Holy Communion / Mass/ Eucharist) every week. We sing a mix of traditional and modern hymns and songs.
In St Peter’s, we reflect a more catholic church tradition – we like symbolism and tradition, and regularly use incense as a sign of our prayer and of Gods blessing.
In St Philips we present a more central, choral tradition and the Choir is RSCM affiliated.
Both church choirs would welcome new members.
Neither church has a formal Sunday School. For our youngest members there is a small play area in each church with books and toys. Older children are encouraged to join in and engage with the services in various ways, often as servers or in the choir.
Both churches enjoy regular church parade services with the uniformed organisations.
